Not sure exactly how you pick up blogging after you haven't posted a darn thing for a YEAR, but here we go.
A lot has changed for us in the past few months. We decided that there wouldn't be a better time for us to go ahead and find a little bigger house because of the tax credit and rates being so low. We are so thankful to have the ability to do this, but I am having a particularly difficult time letting our house go. I really didn't think it would be this hard because it seems like something is always needing to be replaced and it hasn't been fun to "fix things up" in a while. However, this was our first home as a family. We worked on this house all hours of the day and night to make it the home it is for us and it almost feels like we are leaving that family when we move. I will miss getting Vince out of his crib in the morning in that room and brushing my teeth with him in our shared bathroom. I will miss him throwing my cans of food on the floor while I made dinner and him standing at the chest-coffee table while he watched his videos. I will miss the hours and hours that Brian and I sat out on our deck talking about our day and our dreams and Vince. I will miss family parties that we had there and the memories of Vince's two first birthdays there.
I am sure that I will get over this once we are in our beautiful new house, but for now it's difficult to let go.
We have been out of our house for 6 days now and living with Brian's family. They have a perfectly accommodating house for all of us, but it I miss it just being "us" sometimes too. Frank, Kathy, Allison and Matt if you are reading this thank you so much for opening your home to us for the next 8 weeks until we can be in our new place. We love the time and closeness that we have gotten from living together.
Thank you to everyone who has helped us pack, clean, and prayed for our inspections. I will post pics soon.

Easter 2009

We had a great Easter. Vince got some crocs, a new ball, easter candy and a new Mickey Mouse doll (dressed as a bunny). He was so good and looked like a total stud in his new outfit from Great Grandma and Great PapPap Snyder. Vince's hair is really cracking us up these days and has gotten extremely curly. It has its own personality and we love to see how it will look when he wakes up each morning. We had a busy Easter Sunday of trying to get ready for church, eating with the Snyder Family and then over to the Fox Family to celebrate with them. We all ate way too much but enjoyed the family time and celebrating another first holiday with Vince.

Show me your teeth

Vince will now proudly display his 7 teeth for you if you ask him too. He has this very cheesy grin that is accompanied by a hummm noise that he makes at the same time. He loves his breakfasts with Daddy every morning and he is grinning especially big for the pear their shared.
We got to celebrate our friend Landon's first birthday at the end of February. Vince looked like such a little man and was particularly happy because pizza was on the menu for dinner.
Bath Time

Vince really looks forward to his baths these days. Lately, he's been taking them with Mommy when she gets home from the gym, but lucky for all you we didn't put pictures of that up. He loves to splash and pour from the pitcher. He especially enjoys his Nana and Poppy's bath tub because it's a big deep jacuzzi!
